Only 5 Days Left!?!?

I cannot believe that we are down to only 5 days left of school left before summer break!  This trimester has flown by!

Library Books

We have several students that still have library books out.  Please bring these books back to school tomorrow.  Mrs. McKenzie is working SUPER hard in the Media Center to get everything shelved and ready for summer.

Last Friday
Tomorrow will our LAST Friday together!  Please keep your child's Friday Folder at home - because we will not be needing it anymore.  

What's Coming Up!
We are having a VERY busy last 5 days - please make sure that you everything down on your calendar so that your child will be prepared. J

• Friday: Field Day (see the note below from Ms. Moore)
• Monday: Hike to Rock Bridge State Park (make sure that your kiddo is wearing tennis shoes).  We are still in the need of a donation of Popsicles to enjoy at the park after our walk - please let me know if you are able to donate or bring them to the park around 8:30.
• Tuesday: Lunch Bunch & Creative Bird Writing Share (recess at 11:00; 11:15-11:45 lunch & 11:45-12:00 Bird Writing Share).  We have had an overwhelming amount of people who are able to come (whichi is wonderful) but there won't be enough table space for everyone so please plan on bringing a blanket to eat on! J
• Wednesday: Memory & Yearbook signing - if your child has a yearbook to be signed please send it with your child.  We will be making a Memory Book so everyone will have something to sign & remember our wonderful 2nd grade year! J
• Thursday: Last Day of School (Early Dismissal 12:10)  Report Cards come home!  Your child is officially a 3rd grader! 

Below is a message from Ms. Moore (our PE teacher) about Field Day! J

•  Please remember that students WILL get wet, and that it will not be 95 degrees outside, so consider that when dressing tomorrow.
• Also remember to bring extra clothes AND shoes!!!  The office does not have enough clothing to go around, and they have NO shoes.
